Kids scatter for Spring Break

Spring break went great for lots at students of Sanderson High School. I asked students
how they spent their time during spring break.
Travis Roberts worked around town, Amber Bon went to Brownsville with her family and
Jessica Garza went to San Antonio to see housing at the University of Incarnate Word.
Darren Seidel worked and danced in South Texas,
Jacob Benavidez took care of his brother and ran and I went to San Diego and San Antonio.
Sarah Sivils went to Stephenville to visit
Tarleton and rode her horse, Jake Hall worked and had fun and Tim Hopkins went to California for Marine graduation and sightseeing
in San Diego.
Abraham Orozco went to Los Alamos, Coah., London Camacho went to El Paso to visit his mom and Dryden Baker went to Coyanosa
to visit his dad.
Jazmine Diaz went to Barstow, CA, to visit her mom, Saul Uribe went to Odessa and Melissa Gonzalez went to Laredo
to visit her grandmother.
Daniela Garza went to Ozona to visit her grandmother, David Bon went to Brownsville and South Padre visiting
his great grandmother and Ernestina Gonzalez saw her sister who was home on spring break as well.
Brianna Johnson worked on English
and “had the most boring spring break ever.”
Hanna Swanson stayed home cooking, cleaning and riding and Justin Couch had a Red Bull
party, went to Del Rio and San Antonio and to Wink for a tennis tournament.
Julianna Larrinaga spent it with Ashley Woosley, Roxanna
Rodriguez went to Midland and to Jake’s ranch to ride horses. Noemi Nuñez spent two days with Coach Trisha Nichols at the West Texas
Relays in Odessa.
Valeria Woosley stayed home and got a new Ford Mustang. Ashley Woosley hung out with Julianna and Noemi and Jonathan
Calzada went to San Angelo to buy tires and to Austin to see Danielle.
Lizette Ramirez went to Fort Stockton to stay with Hector’s
family, Kelly Lomas stayed home and worked, Cordell Lawson partied with Casey, L.A. and Alan, worked with his dad to remodel a room,
went to the Wink tennis tournament and to Del Rio to see Amanda.
L.A. Galvan had a root canal, Juliana Castro went to Hobbs to see
Jimmy and practiced track. Cameron Baker “fought the Mexican Mafia with nothing but a toothbrush and a Lady’s Speed Stick but refused
to tell the whole story.”
He also got a new shirt from his grandmother.
Andrew Woosley was given a 2003 Mustang as a gift from his
father-in-law and worked, William Roberts stayed home except for the West Texas Relays and a trip to Del Rio and Roy Shoemaker went
to Las Vegas and Utah to go fishing.
Christa Lopez went to Fort Stockton, Isabel Rivera went to San Angelo and Ashley Hagelgans went
to San Diego, CA.
Joseph Hopkins went to Wild Animal Park, San Diego Zoo and saw “Alice in Wonderland,” Robert Montalvo went to Brownsville
with Amber and got a new tennis racquet, Shawn Stegall stayed home helping mom till and garden and riding his four-wheeler and Chris
McDonald watched “Alice in Wonderland” in San Angelo.
Kinderkids shear goats
The kindergarten and first grade classes went to Big Canyon Ranch Thursday before Spring Break to observe a
goat shearing.
“The kids had a great time and learned something too!” Kindergarten Teacher Jessica Harkins said. “We appreciate
Scott and Page Mitchell for having us out and sharing the experience with us.”
